All those registered for and participating in the “Porsche Paddock”, this is your thread. I’ve received a few e-mails and PM’s of interest, but this thread maybe the best way in getting the information out once its available. Lets start a list of CC members with their Cayman’s color. I’ll be posting any information that is sent my way by the Porsche Parade Committee. See ya there.
The Porsche Paddock will be at the Admiral Baker Golf Course Monday morning / July 2nd in conjunction with the Concours D'Elegance.
In addition to the above request we should try for a meet at the hotel bar either on Saturday or Sunday evening. I checked the “Town Country” web site which is where most are staying. It looks like “Charlie’s or Kelly’s Steakhouse" would be good locations for a very informal CC gathering. Any thoughts?

I signed up for the paddock at registration, but still not sure if I'm going to put my car in it. Be aware that it very much restricts what you can do on Monday... You have get up very early to get staged for it, and they make you stay most of the day before releasing the cars... so I might just bag it and take the shuttle bus over and back depending on how early I want to get up Monday morning and how soon I want to leave the concours site.

I am in favor of a gathering at some point, but I don't get in until Sunday, and we (the family is flying in) are slated for the Welcome Party and my daughter at the Kid's Welcome Party Sunday evening.
Soooo...Sunday evening would not be the best choice for me.
Having said that, between scheduled get togethers as well as working in some time friends that live in SoCal, I am not sure that there IS a best time for a Croc gathering.
It might be usefull to clarify this for others, as well as me. Can one participate in the Paddock with CC if not registered for parade and not a POC/PCA member? Thanks, Ed

I was going to say no, but since the concours is typically open to the public you actually might be able to, but it woudl require that you and ZOrnet get that checked with the PCA contact he has to make sure it would be ok.

According to the Parade registrar, the only cars allowed in the paddock will be Parade registered attendees who signed up for it, and PCA members who, for a small fee signed up separately to put their cars in the paddock display, even though they are not registered for Parade. According to the Parade web site, the paddock sign-up is now closed, so they must have reached their capacity. From what I understand, here will be no cars allowed at the concours site other than those in the event itself or those with advanced registration to be in the paddock. I doubt zornet will be able to get any one else in that's not already registered. The concours is open to the public, but you must go to the hotel, and ride the shuttle bus - there's no on-site parking for non-paddock entered cars for either PCA members or members of the public.
