Today I got the call from Brumos. The car is in and it should be ready for pick up this Saturday. This is a week earlier than expected.
I can't wait. Its a good thing that I am away on business for the week otherwise I would be going crazy. Oh ya baby.

I have a question.....this is the 4th or 5th thread I have read stating "my car is in, i get to pick it up in 4 days!!" ...What can possibly take the dealer so long to prep the car? Why are you unable to pick it up the following day?

ygFamily21: I will be very careful on my first drive home (82.5 miles). I see you are in Michigan and understand what you mean about Bambies. I am in Michigan (Troy) on business. Yesterday morning as I was getting on to I75 South at Exsit 72, this enormous deer just crossed in front of me at 8:30 AM. Where did he come from???

Santa Fe: Good point about the checklist. I remember that there is a thread about it. I will search and print it.

dreis44: I don't know why other CS deliveries may take long between arrival at the dealer and delivery to the owner. In my case they have some work to do; Short shift and clear bra installation. Any way, I am glad that the car will not beready before I return home. If I knew that the car was ready and waiting for me I might not be able to concentrate on work.

Congrats. I had a 200+ mile drive home when I picked mine up. That was BEFORE I read the break in stuff in the owners manual. If you think you are excited now- multiply it by 10 when you hit 3rd gear for the first time.Great choice- enjoy!!! Post some pics.
