Blast of cold air following wash / wipe??

This isn't a complaint, but more of an idiosyncrasy ; hence posted here.

Has anyone else ever noticed that when you clean the windscreen with the wash / wipe (ie pulling the wiper stalk towards you) that you get a quick blast of cold air through the vents. It tends to be a couple of seconds afterwards and only lasts for a second or so.

For info; I like the inside of the car cool so tend to keep the aircon on and set at around 18°C / 65°F. Also I have the auto aircon with the sensor in the windscreen - is this why??

Thanks,
