p/x price from opc

just had a quote for px my 06 caymans tip 12000 miles and also my dec 05 cayman s manual 12000 miles ,both cars have good spec and cost 52k each

and the bid 36500 each against a 997tt,i thought that it may have been a little better . if i wanted just to sell the cars back to the dealer i would recieve even less. the dealer said they would then retail them for 42k i run them both through my company so dont really feel it ,but if any of you guys have a suggestion of where i may get a better deal could you please let me know . i know you will probably just say sell them private ,but i need to sell them together to clear the finance .

Thats some serious dealer profit!

Is there a specialist who might buy them off you, I know there are some sports car specialists around, you could try:

Sports and Prestige of Four Marks (inc) S2000 4U, quality used cars, Four Marks

They sell alll sorts of performance / prestige cars and buy for cash much nearer the resale price, nothing to lose anyway. The main guy is called Shaun if I remember rightly.

starlight i think your right about the dealer profit ,they hinted that they would spend approx £2500 to get them to porsche approved standards ,i know they have to make a profit ,and i dont begrude them that, its knowing how much they will make thats now upsetting me ,and the fact that i really thought that i could have sold the cars on after 15months without having to fund the difference . as it is i will probably end up paying about 8k just to get out of the deal . 30% loss in 15 months ,so much for cast iron risiduals .100k on a 997tt ,i think not now .
