I also like the Ruf and 911 typefaces for the gauges better, but I don't mind the Boxster/Cayman fonts either. They remind me very much of the dial of the Omega Dynamic watch (no longer produced):

I totally prefer it.

It's not Ruf's actually - it's the same typeface as the 911s get. Check it out on Porsche's site.

I've commented on it before, I just think they look more 'serious'.

Not worth the money. In 5+k miles I maybe spent 5 minutes max total looking at the gauges. Too busy watching the road

Incidentally, I really love the symmetry of the instrument cluster as well as the markings on the dials. Very smart of Porsche to do this and extremely pleasing to the eye:

No one ever said that the Engineers at Porsche didn’t have an eye for detail. Thank you for sharing your insight with us Interpol. It’s extremely fluid! Would you mind giving us the breakdown in degrees of each line that traverses the median?
