Nice car too. Dark green, standard stuff including sports steering wheel, auto climate, wheels I didn't recognize.
All in all, quite a buy for less than 50K
Considering what I paid for mine, it was a bit of a shock

By chance, do you have any other information available on it WD? Would it be too much trouble for you to get a hold of a picture or two and post it on the CaymanClub? One of our members may have a strong interest in it. Thank you for the insight. Costco, the savings place!

Yes. They had a card on the windshield with instructions on how to acquire one. As much time as I have spent at costco, I've never seen a Porsche before.
It may take a few days for me to get back there, and then I will take a few pictures.

Well, Costco sells a lot of upscale stuff. I am not surprised they have the CS.

It's not being sold at any particular warehouse. Costco's auto buying program contracts with various dealerships in your area. Depending on the model of car, you get a flat no-haggle discount. The discount can be very good ($1500-$2000 below invoice, for example, on various Toyota models) but will vary between manufacturers and locations.
I got a $6000 discount off MSRP on my CS through the Costco auto buying program a year ago - here in Los Angeles, The Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills is the dealership contracted with Costco. No hassle at all.

That may be true, but $49.9k is much much lower than the dealer's incoice for a Cayman S ($51,392 stripped per Yahoo Autos). This car described has some options, and the green color carries a paint up-charge, not to mention the obligatory mats, and $795 destination charge. Something is not right here.

You're right, that is a great price for a CS. Why not call your local dealership associated with Costco and ask?

When you purchased your Porsche Cayman S through Costco Interpol, what restrictions, if any, did you have to abide by? For example, were you able to place a custom order with them, or did they locate a vehicle with similar preferences/specifications?
On a side note and not to sound sarcastic, what’s Costco’s return policy when you purchase a vehicle through their program? Do the rules of the originating dealership take precedence? It sounds as if they’re functioning in the capacity of an automobile broker, a middleman of sorts.
