I purchased my new CS right off the show floor about 2 months ago, my 1st Porsche ever. I respect sites like this that offer their "opinions" and facts on the Cayman and others, but more importantly the valuable amount of free information you can find on this site to maintain and improve on my investment. I fixed the "trunk Clunk" on my own in about 42 minutes 3 beers, and I have followed many valuable tips and links to enable me to purchase the best products for the care and beauty of my new CS thanks to people who sponser sites like this. I have approximately 1500 miles on my new CS which is the 4th member of my automobile family and I love it! Thanks again! I'm happy to be here!
JoeC - Welcome, and thanks for the kudos... all the members here thank you. I hope you continue to have a blast with your car - consider joining PCA and you'll find more folks to play with.

Congratulations on your 2006 Guards Red Porsche Cayman S and welcome to the CaymanClub JoeCayman! As always, would you mind entertaining us with a photograph or two? Details, we love details. We’re glad you're here! Enjoy the adventures that lie ahead.
Congrats on your new CS. Like you, the Cayman is my first Porsche and what a thrill it is. Enjoy. By the way did you notice your "welcoming committee" to your intro post was from the "Silver State"?
Let me also welcome you to the site and mention that we do accept donations so feel free to empty your bank account into ours so I can buy another Cayman.
Glad you find value in the site, please contribute/participate as you can and I second Beez's suggestion to join PCA.

JoeCayman,

You definitely have an eye for detail Captain Happy! Either that or we’re having another hot one and the residents of Nevada are playing on their computers.

I will get to some pic's when I can. My only 2 options were heated seats and colored wheel crests. I really didn't need them but I wanted as basic CS as I could find. If I could have optioned for a radio delete I would have done that as well. This is a beautiful car that is to be driven like it was intended, I can listen to a wonderful stereo in my Volvo on the way to work while drinking coffee if I choose, but Porsche did such a beautiful job of creating an engine that sits right behind your head who needs a radio to drown out that purr??? Now I need to find some really twisted roads in the country...
