Question Nick in the windshield

Well, just my luck. Had the car a little over four weeks. Been doing some driving in the most fantastic car I've ever owned, and pop! A little rock decides to take a small chunk out of my windshield. By small, I mean 2mm or so.

I've had cracked windshields in other cars, and those have to be replaced. But, this is my first Porsche, and I'm looking for advice. What to do?

Here are a couple of previous threads to read. Really sorry about that but Porsche windshields are very soft for some reason.

1. Cracked Windshield!!!
2. The First Casualty- My Windshield

Good luck.

Same thing happened to me and it sucks. You might check out these threads as this topic has been discussed recently. One of these threads gives an example of a DIY repair. As well as some preventative measures you can take if you decide to replace the windshield.

LOL... great minds think alike. The really funny part is that we didn't double up on the searches. Nice Work!
