You know, based on a prior thread, I think it is good to give encouragement to dealers who have done right by us, and encourage those who have not, to reevaluate.
In line with that I have started two threads, one about good stories and one about bad ones. This is the thread about good experiences.
Please post your good experiences with a dealer. Please name the dealer.

Since speedyellow cars are the fastest, I will support your good idea with my only after-sale dealer story (previously posted "years" ago and now lost in antiquity).
My factory delivery car finally arrived at Hoehn Porsche, Carlsbad (San Diego suburb) and, after intervention by the General Mgr in the detailing department, (another story) the German plates were located and mounted. So when I later went to mount the California plates, the front adapter presented a puzzlement due to its hole sizes. They led one to think there might be screws that were Porsche part numbers. Not so. BUT the efforts of the Service Mgr and two techs, in dropping whatever they were doing and searching out some nice stainless screws that worked, were noted and appreciated.
Actually the German plate incident and the fact that I had to insist to receive the promised interest on the $10k Factory delivery refundable deposit are a minor negative but not worth a separate post.
I've said it before in Zone 2 and will again. I have nothing but good words for Tischer (one of the vendors here). From buying the car to service, a very class act.
i love my dealer....i couldnt say enough great things about them...
i purchased my "baby", 2004 anniversary ed. Boxster S in December 2006, from Porsche of Huntington, on Long Island, NY. The salesman Jason was the best! We fell in love w/the car immediately, never even drove it, just told him to wrap her up, we're taking her home. Was he nice because we were an easy sale?.... maybe, but he has become part of the family so to speak.
i truly bought the car because of the way it looked, no other reason. i know nothing about the special features she has, but he knows my car like the back of his hand. when ever i call with a question, he never brushes me off like i am stupid chik... after i have. a great experience driving the car somewhere i call him and tell how much i love the car, you can hear his eyes light up on the phone.... "that's great, your boxsetr is an amazing car,... did you know it has......." and he tells me more about the car than i could find out reading the factory specs. i've come to know the guys in the shop thru PCA events, they are all super nice and friendly; even they ask for "baby" whenever i see them... today i finally met the Manager Artie Hoffman,.. what a super nice guy. This Sunday we have our last Concours of the season, when i told Jason... " I want to win this one..".... "no problem, bring Baby in tomorrow, we'll detail it for you, then drive with us Sunday... you'r with us..."
Baby got super pampered today, she looks beautiful!!
I recently spoke to a saleman at Audi Huntington.... "you know Jason?.... Jason know's his Porsche's..." which he does...Porsche must have thought of Jason when they did the commercial with the boy at the dealer... "i'll see you in 20 years", since Jason worked there since he was 15... he lives, eats, breathes Porsche... when i am working on my P Club newsletter, i send him pics of classic P cars..."Jay, what's this?.." He comes back with the complete specs on the car, more then i need... but Porsche's are his passion, and it shows. I recently sent a very good friend of mine to Porsche Huntington, and Jason treated him like gold, he ended up buying 2.. Cayman S and Cayenne... Rich also had a great experience working with Artie and Jason... Guess they have the old fashioned philosophy... "Customers for Life..."
that's definately me.

I bought my car from Rusnak up in Pasadena (even though I literally live 20 feet from Beverly Hills Porsche) , mainly because my neighbor is the sales manager there.
When I bought my car, they took a personal check and agreed to wait 3 days to cash. And they had someone drive home in my old car and follow me all the way to my place. That was very nice.
Since Beverly Hills Porsche is more convenient for service, I brought it in three times.
a) I brought it in to program the key and program the side lights to blink with the tiurn signal. They did it at no charge.
b) I brought it in when my ipod denison unit was not working (and I thought it was the head unit). The replaced the head unit and tried everything. (Ends up it was the denison unit. By the way the Denison unit works very well, just needed to be disconnected and reconnected so no complaints on that). No charge and they put in some time on this.
c) My water pump blew up on me and they replaced it per Porsche warranty and no problems.
THE BH sales guys have been very friendly and I remark my neighbor used to run their sales in the past and has a relative there.

I have never heard from the dealer ( Sunset Porsche)that I purchased mine from other then their deposit stamp on the back of my check. Even after I've sent them emails.
Walters Porsche has been good for service.
I bought in Columbus (OH) at Byers Porsche. David Jone (Sales Consultant) is a terrific guy and car fanatic (owns a GT3 and a 356 cabrio). Was very detailed explaining the car features and made the whole experience a delight. We closed the deal in 15 minutes! My wife and I have actually become friends with him and his wife.
I got mine from Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte, NC and they were perfect! Never jerked me around once and were extremely nice and professional. Good guys!

i had an extremely negative experience trying to buy my '07cs from south shore porsche. without going into ugly details, let me just say that their manager was out of his mind and really made a scene (yes - it was profanity laced) on their (empty) showroom floor. i basically told him that i refused to purchase from a dealership that was so unprofessional and walked out (even though they had the exact car i was looking for). it's too bad, because my salesman was a complete gentleman.
later that day, i got a $500 better deal from porsche of roslyn - they located an exact car for me and were utterly professional and a delight to deal with.
