You're going to need dyno runs to substantiate the increases. Can you post them?

Post some pics and sound clips, if you have time. I am considering the Remus for my CS. Noticed you lived in WA, I lived in Oregon, would love to see and hear the exhaust in person, if you have time to spare.

Everyone who buys something says it increases performance dramatically. Until they are subject to scientific scrutiny.

In so many cases I have seen dyno'd cars that were actually modded to be slower than stock, and their owners thought they had made them faster. Louder maybe, or more bling, but amusingly, not faster.

Its like asking "Are you of above average intelligence?". 99% of people say yes. Only 50% of people can be right.

Kor,
Now that's funny...

HEre is what I posted in the other topic thread:

I think folks would like to know the following:

1) Dyno before and after results
2) Cost - and any specials for our members? are they willing to become a sponsor and offer specials?
3) Resonance between 2000 and 3000 rpm
4) Sound clips
5) Visuals on install

It would be nice to see before and after hp/torque figures rather than depend on the butt dyno.

Besides that, I have heard Remus exhausts, and they sound excellent on BMW's.

So do Supersprint.

Regarding the Remus, is it lighter than the stock part?

Details, details, we need them dude!!!!!

Remus Exaust No Joke

I did not get my Cayman with the Remus Exaust dyno'd Yet But Maxrpm in Bremerton WA Installed it. I Spoke with a guy in Olympia Wa that Just had his done before me and he told me the Dyno he Did with the Remus Increased his HSP And Torque .I believe he said it was 12 HSP ON THE DYNO!! You can call Alex @ WWW.MAXRPM.COM for the exact specks he is the owner .KOR I can really tell the difference in the power we have 5 Caymans in Our club and I have driven them back to back .Mine is the fastest and the best sounding by far . I guess I will just have to record a sounf chip for everyone to believe .CoCarmos You can Buy the Remus on E-bay for less than what I spent $1,495.00 Plus Installation. FYI the Remus fits on the cayman and the cayman S (Same Exaust) Avantyper ,Come on up anytime after the 6th of next month,Car is out of my hands until then ( Photo Shoot ) with A Car collector who Paid me (Very well) to borrow it untill then. Was hoping to bring it to VEGAS !!!

prodgers, here's a suggestion. Try to break up your post into paragraphs because your trying to respond to multiple people and its hard to read. Click on quote and then start typing or click on the quote sign to pick multiple posts to quote in one response. In that way, your post will be much more readable

BTW, with no before and after dyno test independently verified and posted, you may find that your butt dyno may not be as well received as before/after dynos from a shop.

Best of luck with your new exhaust

Yes, this is a tough crowd. Without pictures it didn't happen. Even with pictures people doubt. Just ask Ken.

If it makes you happy then that's really all that matters.

I've had my fabspeed exhaust installed for a couple of weeks now and I don't think I've really turned my radio on since. I don't really care if it made any hp or not. The sound is so intoxicating that it was like getting the CS all over again.

I know it saved some weight getting rid of that Frankenstein cat back from the factory.

Post some pictures or a video of how it sounds.

It's ok to talk about products from non-sponsors, right?
