First road trip in the Cayman!

Me and the wife went from here (Georgia) to Texas this past weekend to pick up my new toy (get to that in a second). Very surprised on how comfortable we were the whole time! Even got to open her up on a couple of stretches in Louisiana and Texas! 1600 miles later and you would never know it left the garage Well, except for the MILLIONS of "love-bugs" I murdered to and from TX. I caught myself nearly detailing the car at every gas stop

Why the hell drive all the way to Texas? To pick up my near mint
'94 911 (964) C2 coupe! 44K on the odo, complete records, the works. Previous (1 owner) was a Doctor and was quite meticulous. Only thing I am going to do is break out the PC orbital and remove the swirls from the wonderful paint.

This has been my favorite Porsche for as long as I can remember. Last year of the 964, this to me screams classic Whenever I think of Porsche or overhear someone talking about them, this is the ride I think of automatically!

Please forgive the quality of pics-best I could manage after 12 hours on the road

Congratulations! Always thought the 964 was a beautifully designed car. You certainly found a like-new specimen.

Please share some 964/CS compare and contrast thoughts when you have a chance.

Well as for comparisons, these two are night and day! The C2 is like a go kart!
acceleration-911
handling-Cayman, especially on turn-in.
comfort-toss up! due to the C2 being heavier, it actually rides better.
sexiness-Cayman
pure fun-911

I do enjoy both equally, just depends on the mood I guess!!
