#1824 has arrived in my garage. Delivery at 5 p.m. today and a first 60 mile drive all in the dark at 80-85 mph and barely keeping up with the rush hour traffic from Alb. to Santa Fe. One funny thing, the porter had the radio on but sound turned all the way down. When I looked at the instruments it was saying 'Buzzard' I was going 'what the?' until I remembered mpollard's similar discovery of the information from the radio. 'The Buzzard' is a local classic rock station.

Thanks all. Russ you are right. I was in the garage and replaced the side lights like you showed, added the plug to the door lock from bumperplugs.com and was generally admiring that beautiful body. Hopefully I can find some nice places for pictures over the next couple of days.
I think I could have sold the car on the lot today. Several folks fell in love with the Artic/Cocoa combination. Almost all the Porsches around here have black interiors so this is really unusual to them.
The drive back was a bit hairy. I could not get the outside mirrors adjusted to where I was comfortable and the gravel trucks were out along with some folks in big, big trucks in a big, big hurry. And it was dark. When I got to my country roads I was so glad to have the upgraded headlights. They are wonderful. I have never seen so many rabbits.
The first impressions I have is that this is the best of all the Porsches I've owned.
