i recently returned from a european holiday which included a trip to the nurburgring. my wife and i rented a 230hp gti from rent-racecar and had a wonderful time lapping the 'ring at speed. their cars are set up very well for the nordschleife. the proprietors (theo & heide) are incredibly kind and fun.

i mentioned to theo that he should strongly consider getting a cayman s to add to his stable. he responded that he was already thinking of it. i received an email from them last week informing me that a cayman had been purchased and was already put into service!

i highly recommend the experience to those of you who are true driving enthusiasts.

oh yeah... there was one cayman running the nordschleife while it was closed for manufacturer runs. since i have no idea what a regular 3.4 sounds like whizzing by at 170mph, i couldn't tell if there was anything special about it. maybe it was part of the nissan gt-r party that was there.
