I just heard from our supplier that as soon as next week there will be a web page up where members can go buy license plate frames (and other goodies) on an individual basis. As soon as I have more info I will post it, but I wanted to let people know that this was coming.

This is going to be a bit of a decision. White car with a green and white plate....which frame will go "best?"

I would recommend the black one. I have a silver one b/c I have a black 2.7 and I thought that the contrast would be nice. But the Caymanclub.net is too hard to read and make out in the silver frame. I'm thinking about going over the caymanclub.net part with a black sharpie to make it stand out.

Yes talked to the manufacturer today and they are going to send me a link to post in our store where members can go directly to their site and purchase our custom frames. Hopefully I will get that today and post it today!

Joe at Knobmeister.com (Quality Images) is PHENOMENAL! I got the PDF form (filled it out using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended), e-mailed it to him and sent a PayPal payment - ALL on Friday Sept 12th as Hurricane Ike was approaching us. (I live in Pearland, 14 mi south of downtown Houston.)

I received the frame Tuesday Sept 16th, by Priority Mail. Packaged in high strength plastic "zipper" seal bag that is showroom quality packaging!! The frame feels substantial and looks beautiful. Got the black stainless steel.

NOW - waiting for my 2010 Cayman S, which will be the 1st custom order for the new year done by my dealer (Park Place Porsche in Dallas). They expect to place orders in late October/early November, delivery in early March 2009.
