After much research on this site (in a very short period of time) I just purchased a 2008 Cayman S. Have not picked it up yet - need to wait a day due to error at insurance company...
Will post the details once I register the car, but it is black/black.
Looking forward to driving it and joining the fun.

From one end of the spectrum to the utter....this is PCar #7 for me, and they just keep getting better. Every time I finally wander back to the fold and get back into a Porsche, I say to myself...."What where you thinking!!!"...referring to my brain lapses when I didn't own one!
Congrat and welcome to the believers!

I'm a 2000 plus miles on my first Porsche person...puts every car I had every own into the crapola pile...and they will stay there....I can almost guarantee that every car I ever own from now on will have that crest on the hood.
Here's to knowing the cops by first name....Ein Prosit!!!! and Big CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations! My CS is my first P-car as well, and I'm still in a state of dis-belief (six months and 6000 miles later) over what an amazing car it is.
Great screen name, by the way. See you at the Indianrockolis 500, Fred!

I had an '01 C4 before this for <1 year....I then purchashed mine new in April '07 as they just came available. Have over 20k and I still smile and take a double take on how pretty she is. I then get in and enjoy even more every acceleration, every corner, every downshift and every brake...BTW, the sounds rocks!
Good luck

I recently purchased a new Cayman with a few options and must state that I never knew a car could handle as well as the cayman does!!! I continue trying to limit my driving since I want to keep the miles low but have yet to be successful due to having to much fun driving it.
I just registered to this site and am still getting familiar with navigating through the lay of the land but thus far I am blown away at all the emmense content and wealth of knowledge here. In only a couple of days I have had so many questions answered here by reading old posts and would like to sincerely thank everyone for sharing. I hope to add content as I learn it but for now I am smiling ear to ear every night when I go out and stare at my new whip in complete awe.
This is my first Porsche too. I have an 07 Cayman S and am very happy with it. As I like to say. I have a smile on my face even when I am standing still in traffic.
