Dumb Questions

This may be a dumb question, but in the owners manual it says there is a window on the coolant fill area to check it for proper levels? I cant seem to find one? Is there a window to view the level?

Second, behind my cooling vents is a fan, so I would not be a candidate to desnork right? Thanks Dan

There is no such window - open the little hatch in the back where the oil and coolant fill tubes are located - take cap off the one on the right - the coolant filler (make sure the car is STONE cold when you do this) and inside the neck, there's min./max. level markers in yellow plastic - how it works is self evident - you might need a flashlight.

The de-snork is done on the engine intake side - which is the vent on the driver's side of the car - there is no fan on this side... the passenger's side vent is a ventilation vent - there's a fan there to bring in air to cool down the compartment where the motor is located.

Just to clarify for the uninitiated: the de-snork is done on the left side vent (it is always the left side regardless of which side the steering wheel is on...)

Note: there is a little window in the front boot plastic trim to check your brake fluid level (left side) - maybe you got that confused with the coolant.
