Just a heads up, our beloved Cayman S will be on the latest Fifth Gear installment. I believe it is Season 14 Episode 8. Jason Plato will be showing some celebrity (most likely) how to drive fast.

I haven't seen it yet, I saw last week's episode and they said this was on their next show (which should be up on the internet around now). So, got to get to my torrents and download the show.

You Brit's are so lucky you get Top Gear and Fifth Gear there. The Top Gear's they show here on BBCA are like a season behind and are horribly edited, it's no fun when they bleep Captain Slow for saying "****". So, I have to be the one providing the shows to my car loving friends.

If I recall correctly, Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear derisively referred to our beloved Cayman as a "boxster with a hard top.....a c0ckster!"

Then again, Mr. Clarkson has never been fond of the Porsche brand.

Some mentioned in a diffrent thread that we can watch Fifth Gear at BBC.com, but I can't find it.

this is an old episode... being a 2.7 driver, I keep track of such things !

i watched the new 5th gear episode today. jason plato attempts to teach a blue eagles pilot (british army helicopters) how to do a j-turn, a handbrake parking manouver, and drift around a skidpad. fun to watch plato get it right. the pilot should stick to his westland lynx.

Well he can go back to practising inverted loops in one of the few choppers that can do it as well as piloting one of the fatest choppers out there...so guess he'll not be too disapointed

Mind you scuffing up someone elses tyres does sound like a lot of fun to me

It's on BBC America, but for the american version they retitled it Top Gear, and made it better!
