Porsche Logo Windshield for Cayman

Hello,

Got a quick question. I own a base model 2007 Cayman. I am originally from East Tennessee. The problem that I am having is small dimples and pits on my windshield. It is not cracked. It almost looks like it has been sandblasted. I have been in Atlanta for 6 months and travel a lot on the expressways. I have debated replacing the windshield but that will run me $1200.00. And I feel the problem would start all over again. I took it to the dealership and had them clean it with a Clay Bar but it is still the same. I thought about trying to turn it in on my warranty. Jim Ellis shop doubted they would cover it. Does anyone know if I can get it repaired?

I don't know if you can get it covered under warranty or not, but this thread may answer. And before someone else says it - "Search" is your friend.
