Well the fun is over for gator bite and myself
as we pull our selves together after a awesome two days. We ate a wonderful breakfast at Ihop, took some more pics and hit the road. Hopefully he will post them later tomorrow. So we hit 85 north as I lead. I see a Dodge Charger SRT8 creepin up on our left in the hov lane. I keep a close eye on gator bite to see if he is going to play so I can get out of his way. No dice
, as the SRT8 pulls up on my left and with open road ahead. I look over and he motions with hands like he wants to run
. I nodded and he started to pick up speed so I pushed in the clutch and down shifted into 3rd to let the 2.7 loose
. As the roar of the
borla was like music to my ears. I prepared myself for a butt kickin. To my surprise I walked him right on out. As I reach 110 I looked in the rear view and the HEMi was about 5 cars back
. I let off and he catches up fast and slows down gives me a smile, nod and thumbs up with a nice car
. As we run up on traffic rather quickly. He took off again weaving in and out not to be seen again. Yeah I know the is like 5000 pounds but still I expected more out of the flagship of dodge SRT department. Thanks again to all that had there hands in putting this event together. Well there will be more to come on my experience of Croctoberfest 2008.
