The rear actually looks better than i thought it would. I miss the trapezoidal pipes, they were definitely unique in the sports car world.

The front end looks nice, but not quite as nice as I thought it would. The front air dam looks like it came off of a cayenne and the headlights are starting to look 996 "fried-egg" ish. Is that word?

Thoughts?
But with PDK and LSD count me in...

I woudl love to own one with PDK and DFI....

Those rear tail lights are just DISGUSTING! How much further away from masculine/muscular/power could a design get?

Looks like the headlights (like I previously thought) are getting bigger to help differentiate it from the 911. I don't like it. The previous gen was a good design compromise between having the 911 lights and having something "different." If this looked better, I think they would have released this on the 1st gen. Ah, marketing has gotten the better of them...

The rear lights are different just to make them different. Again, just a marketing strategy.

As for the mechanical improvements, well those are actually improvements! But, I'll keep my 1st gen and add a LSD to it and have the best of both worlds.

I added the LSD, but I would still like to feel the DFI and PDK!

I like the current fog light spears better. Perhaps this is to distinguish the front from the new 911 LED spears?

DFI would be nice (for the power increase), but I've already done a bunch of power mods. And, I'm not too interested in the PDK. But, I think it is a good option for the folks who like/need an automatic. But to the purists, it will add weight. I wonder how much heavier the new car will be? 50 lbs? I think I heard the pdk is ~68 lbs additional.
