Assets
A driving genius, achingly desirable, much cheaper than a 911

Drawbacks
Only two seats, cluttered switchgear, some quality issues

Verdict
If you love driving, can live with just two seats and have the money, you simply have to have one

An impressive quote from the full revue is worth noting:

'You'll know that this is Porsche's best handling car after less than five minutes on the road, which alone must make it a candidate for the best handling car in the world.'

This statement has only made waiting for my car even more intolerable.

Remember dealers are suppose to have 'demos' in December for customers to test drive. In fact my dealer told me they may have a car by the end of November. That may take some of the edge off our wait.

I spoke with my Charlotte dealer earlier this week. He said the rumor is that his shop will have a Cayman as early as November that they must 'keep under a tarp.' He said he'd let me know when/if it comes in, so I took it that the implication was that I could see it because I'd ordered one. What a seductive marketing approach.
