CaymanS wheels and Carrera GT wheels same?

The Carrera GT wheels are essentially the same design as the stock CaymanS... the same spoke shape and pattern... the center hub cap is different.

Has anyone else noticed this?

here is a better shot of the Carrera GT rims... the spokes are thinner but have essentially the same design.

The design was based on the Carrera GT wheels. Porsche stated that in their marketing literature. They have similar features only.

hey look both cars are yellow, they must have been based on the same design. :-) I don't think there is any similarity at all except for the 5 spoke design.

yes similar but different centres as the GT has one locating nut instead of five bolts I believe

Just my opinion but I really do not like the stock wheels at all. They just remind me of MM Evo's.

Maybe i'm partial from seeing these wheelsa lot as Usher the pop singer lives in my neighborhood and when he's driving his RangeRover around he leaves his silver CarreraGT parked out front of his house

im not really crazy about the stock wheels either, but i think the GT wheels look really cool.....they are similar arent they? maybe the GT wheels just look cleaner...and bigger .....and shinier!
