I have enjoyed my Cayman S since launch date with nothing but positive experiences. However, I am now being driven crazy by some kind of rattle that sounds like golf clubs clanging together. It seems to becoming form the hatch area. Can anyone help with a solution?

markalan - do a search on the topic and you'll probably find lots of info that's already been discussed including some remedies, I would bet. The stuff I remember reading here on that topic usually pointed to the inside lining of the hatch being loose, and the dealer will go in an re-attach it correctly.

We once discussed the hatch rattle and I remember that someone said to make sure you have the small clear plastic pieces in place on both sides of the hatch opening. These were assumed to be to reduce rattles. Before I knew what they were I almost removed them. I have a photo that I will try to find.
