For those of you who have actually seen the Cayman in person (those Frankfurt visitors) did you notice what type of material they are using for the interior roof liner?

It's fabric. Not carpet, plastic or leather, just the standard stuff, similar to the 911. I actually think it was glued to the roof (with some liner/soundproof between the metal and the fabric) so it's pretty solid.

Alcantara would be nice. I have it on my steering wheel and seats on my 330i. But I am sure it either is an expensive option or it comes with full leather.

When the first order guides broke (for all Porsche models) an Alcantara liner was listed as an option for the Cayman.......but never saw it on any Cayman specific order guide. I bet it will be available, but maybe not at this point.
