How do you know your number?!

I see many of you often posting numbers in the thousands, which I assume are the number of the place in whichyour car came off the production line.

I.E. # 4156, your car was the 4156th car to come off the production line.

I was wondering how you all obtained these numbers?!

It is the last four digits of your VIN which only your dealer can provide while it is in production and on its way to you.

The factory will tell your dealer the VIN through the computer system when the car is shown as completed... from what I understand, the VIN is unavailable until then.

Thanks Brad, yes the VIN is only availble when the car is completed. Some sales people are good about providing it to the customer and some are not.

I already have my car, so Icould just read the last 4 digits of the vin off my dash to know my number right?

My car was a big surprise so I didn't know anything during the production process!

I think you need the last 6 digits to be completely accurate, mine is 785069, but I notice others were 77####.
