Check engine light
The check engine light for my Cayman came on yesterday. Told me to take the car to the shop.I have 2500 miles on the vehicle, engine sounds fine, the oil level is ok. Wondering if anybody has insight into this or thinks there should be a cause for concern before I take it in for servicing tomorrow. Thanks.

My car had the a solid check engine light (blinking is dangerous supposedly) around that mileage as well and the dealer had to replace the cat('s?). They asked me to drive it around for 100 miles to make sure it wasn't bad gas or a gas cap type of thing, you're probably safe.
