Any interest in SpeedART?

I was contacted by someone from SpeedART and I talked to them about advertising/sponsorship here and they didn't see the value in it, at least not at this time. I am wondering if there are members out there who would be interested in seeing SpeedART come to the table, offer group buys, etc. for club members? If there is enough interest I will contact them back and show them the interest and ask them to reconsider, but if not I'll just let it go....

Until now I was not even aware of them. So just by your post they get a wee bit of advertising and notice that wasn't there before. That should tell them something.

They didn't see the value in it? Hmmm.... I thought that they would be interested advertising their products on the official site of Porsche Cayman. Maybe they are not interested in the US Market since they are based in Germany although they have a partner in Charlotte NC.

I am surprised at their comment. The oldsaying'that there is money to made in advertising', I guess their not out to make any money or to bring their product to a larger market. How could they not be intereted in a strictly Porsche forum? There are a lot of folk on here from across the pond as well, hmmm oh well.

I may be getting a speedart power kit at some point in the near future. Their U.S. distributor is the shop where I get most of my mods done and where those of us here in the U.S. would be directed if we wanted a speedart product. I cant imagine why speedart wouldnt want to advertise or sponsor, seems like a no brainer to me. Especially with the growing number of CaymanClub members...not to mention guests and lurkers.

GMP Performance, the german tuner I mentioned above, are sponsors at 6speedonline and I think a couple other import forums, but as of yet havent jumped on the caymanclub bandwagon. I am sure they will see the light soon. hopefully anyone ordering from them will mention this site so they see the value.

So how is it that they get away with using an outline of a 911 in thier advertising and we cannot use an outline of a Cayman for our logo????

Santa Fe,

The reason is clear. The Cayman has such a sexy shape that to place the outline on our logo would border on pornography.
