That's pretty cool.

I really like how the camera reveals the croc's teeth at the top edge of the windshield. Chomp, chomp!!

I posted that in the 'first track day' thread the other day. Thats my car last week at Sandown in Australia. I used a Sony HD DV camera - so the file on google is squished up to fit 4:3 aspect.

It looks pretty awesome on the big widescreen TV with the stereo cranked up!

Great Video Erik. I notice the 930 Turbo pulls away in the straights but you close rapidly in the turns. I've had this same experience on the track with the 930's in front of me. Good driving, quiet hands, using the entire track, good turn-ins, good apexes... nice job! Greg

That was my first ever track day. I have number two on Friday. That was the instructor driving my car. He was Carrera Cup rookie of the year last year (in Australia).

Haha I was going to say 'good driving but too bad it wasn't David!' but you beat me to it.

Nice work DT. The walls at Sandown are really close! I attended a Porsche track day there several years ago and drove 4 r 5 Porsches - a really fun day.

My car arrives on Saturday!

The only walls that are close are the ones on turn three. I have seen a GT3 swapping end there and damaging it's super expensive magnesium OZ wheels.

David are you doing the next O'Neil day? Liquidator are you coming along?

I am doing a John Bowe high performance course on Friday. When is the next Events Oneil day? I'll definately WANT to go when the invites go out, but it depends on the date.

Liquidator: I bet you are looking forward to Saturday!

I think it is mid June. Thought I already received the invite but then again I get the Sydney Burrow Days invite as well so maybe I am just confused. I will post as soon as I get one in case you were left out. I am looking forward to racing some F430's. There has been a lot of those lately.

There were two 430's at my day along with a Gallardo and a bunch of Maserati's and Lotus. There was a new Supercharged Exige there that i think was the fastest car on the track. Lots of fun!

Very much - I had to call into the Porsche/Mercedes dealership twice today as my business partner was having his SLK 350 serviced. The dealer has started preparing my car - it really is a beautiful design. I ordered a silver car with ocean blue interior. I am particularly impressed with the sports seats. We also have a Boxster S and a 996 cabriolet in the drive however the Cayman will be my daily car!

Mr car is silver with sports seats and sports wheel. I really like the silver and am glad I chose it. it really sparkles and shows up the lines when you give it a good clean.

I'll be taking my video camera again on Friday. It will be clearer this time as there wont be that black shape (luggage net) at the top. It slid down over the lens. I have bought a manfrotto super clamp and magic arm that bolts onto the bar between the seats and lets me position the camera at any height and angle I choose. I just hope it doesn't wobble about too much.

One of them is Seek co-founder. He just got it. The Sandown day before had 3 F430's, and two in the one before as well. I don't know where they are all popping out from!

I did hear that. I have a friend who knows him. That may explain this billboard at the track:
