The local dealer is selling a Cayman S with 4700 plus miles for 68k. Spec'd out new it's about 72k. Seems a bit high priced to me?

It's just business. If some fool is willing, stupid, or uninformed enough to pay that for it then good for the dealership. They have made a great sale. They just want to get the most they can for a unit, as we seek to pay the least for our purchase.





You should be paying 4000-6000 off msrp for a new 06 around this time. If you get 6000 plus, then congrats on a great deal!

My CS has 5000 miles on it. It spec'ed for $72K and I wouldn't part with it for $68K.

Seriously though, I suspect this is their demo as well which really makes me wonder. I understand the whole buyer beware concept, don't get me wrong but I also wonder if dealerships overdue it sometimes and thus aleinate a loyal customer base.
