Anyone familiar with World Class Driving?

There have been ads in the last few C&D magazine promoting a travelling car show where you get to drive exotics all day long. They advertise Gallardo, Ford GT, Bentley, M5, F430, Z06 etc.and you get to drive 6 different cars approximately 30 miles each over a selected road course. Fee is $795. Has anyone done this or know anyone who has? They have a website at wcdriving.com . I'm trying to decide whether to make the trek to Denver to partake.

Anybody know if it's for real or worthwhile?

Andy

they have one in SF. definitely real, but not sure if it's worthwhile. you only get to drive on the road, can't race etc etc sort of like an extended test drive.

I did the first event in Charlotte in late April. It was a blast to drive these cars back to back. We got to drive each one for about 30-35 minutes on various roads south of Charlotte. They letus drive the cars fairly hard. I wonder how the cars will hold up to the use. These cars are being used 10 to 12 straight hours each day.

i posted a thread identical to this one about 2 months ago and was real close to signing up. the part that worried me was that they couldnt tell me where we would be driving. im not really interested in driving a lambo 35mph through a residential district...or for that matter 65mph on the highway...i wanna stretch its legs! didnt get the feeling that was gonna be an option. if you do decide to do it...please post a thread and let us all know how it went. good luck.

Has anyone done the Nevada Bubblegum type rally Autobahns? Site is http://www.openroadracing.com Apparently you can't join the faster speed classes until you've gone on one of their rallies in the 120 mph or less, but the good thing is that it is DOT sanctioned, so at least the long arm of the law won't be involved. Thanks for the feedback guys! Sounds pretty legit--I'll see I can work with the dates.
