Front Air Intake Grill Removal

Does anyone know how to take off the front air intake grills???? Have seen pics with the black ones being replaced by the silver aluminum look ones and would like to get mine off. Any info would really help so I don't end up breaking any plastic pieces holding them in.....

Nope, but been wondering about a mod that would fill the entire space so that the front was one nice moulded piece. I suspect that it is only there to make themanual Cayman conform to the 'tip' Cayman's appearance. The cd on the 'tip' is sligthly worse with the opening for the extra cooling (.30 vs .29).

If you do take it off take photos and look for a mounting spot for those who want to develop a front plate holder that is in the center of the car but not on the bumper.
