My t-shirts just arrived in the mail, very quick service.
Quality of color is marginal, particularly on the black shirt.
The yellow t-shirt looks the best (maybe K-Man S had something to do with it) but the green shirt isn't as good and the printing on the black shirt looks faded (colors aren't vibrant) my 2 cents, anyway

I thought my white t-shirt looked better than my yellow one. I haven't picked up a black one yet to compare. I am wondering if all will be the same or if they have runs of different consistencies. So far our white and yellow shirts have been through the wash a half dozen times each and both look pretty much the same as when they first arrived. I didn't find the color to be any different from any other t-shirt printed in this style, by that I mean that I know there are those type of really thick rubber-like applications where the colors are vibrant, glossy and shiny but the stuff breaks down in the wash, vs. these type that are more like a dye in the t-shirt where the colors last but maybe aren't as bright from the beginning.
Feel free to take some hi-res photos and paste them up here so I can look at them and I will get to ordering a black shirt shortly so I've got something to compare to my white and yellow t-shirts. We don't really have any control over how cafepress prints items but I do know they have a money back guarantee if you aren't happy they include a return envelope to send the item back in.

front of the black, green & yellow t-shirts (yellow washed out from flash)
you can see on the right edge of the green a line where it's not filled in on the black ring, there are several of these but they don't show on the pictures. I'm not an expert but looks like a second run through of the printing would sharpen the colors
There is supposed to be a thin line before the edge black line that way if it prints on the black background you have the white border, but in your pic it looks like a double white border at the bottom. What I think it could be is simply the color being printed on that for example with the green shirt the greenish hue comes through the colors of the logo, probably no way to prevent that with their printing technique and probably why most of their stuff is white background.
I bought a girl the female Hoody (Black and White) and I bought myself the Organic Cotton T-Shirt (Natural Beige Color) and I am happy with both of them.
I also bought 4 Coasters. Happy with those as well.

I have a little experience here. From the pictures and description, it sounds as though they were produced using an ink jet process rather than screen printing. There are many small companies printing textiles with ink jet machines that do not put out a quality product. Especially on darker color shirts. Screen printing, by in large, will yield a far superior, longer lasting shirt. If done properly, it will take a very long time to degrade. Unfortunately, you need to buy everything up front as the higher quantities will get the pricing down.
Shane, 'I bought a girl the femail Hoody' be careful of those Southern girls. I should know I'm coming up on 40 years of being married to one. They are however forgiving as you can see...[img]/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/heart.gif[/img]
thanks for your expertise, have to say the yellow and green shirts are satisfactory but the black probably falls into your 'darker' category because the colors just don't show well
