Porsche parts cheaper than options

I just ordered the color center wheel caps from http://www.sunsetimports.com/porscheparts.php

They are advertisers here and true to their word they sold me the parts with only a 15% markup from their dealer cost.

Total 4 caps came to $155 + 20 shipping (no tax out of state) brought me to $175... cheaper than the $185 option for a custom ordered Cayman (and I have 2 sets of caps in case someone steals one)

Pretty good deal, just wanted to let you all know they are for real. I might order my tires from them...

Second that. When ever you are buying something with a Porsche part number be sure to check in with SunsetImports.

Um you guys need to check your URL's better. SunSET Porsche is NOT a sponsor/advertiser here, it is SunCOAST Porsche that is, difference is Oregon vs. Florida.

Perhaps those who have ordered from SunSET would like to place another call to them to ask them if they would be interested in becoming a sponsor/advertiser here???

Also with regard to wheel centers, don't forget about the nice billet ones from our sponsor Boothe Design, IMHO much nicer than the Porsche plastic ones. There is an article in the Articles section about them.

If you got that link from here, then it was from someone's message topic where they posted the link, it didn't come from the sponsors page. Would you mind calling them and asking them if they'd be interested in advertising/sponsorship? If they say yes ask for someone's name and number there who handles that (likely someone in marketing) and I will give them a call once you forward the info to me.

Be careful about buying center caps on eBay. Some are poor aftermarket imitations, although some are actually much nicer than the oem Porsche caps.

This may clear up some of the confusion re: Suncoast Motorsports in Sarasota, FL. They are part of the www.sunsetautogroup.com family. I have ordered from them twice and have been impressed with their prices and swift service.
