None of us know much about what's going to be standard / options for 07...for the United States,
TPMS has to be standard as far as I know...as far as
sports chrono and the short shifter, those comments in an earlier thread have not been verified as the 07 order guides have no yet been released...as for whether or not you want an 06 or an 07, here's how I'd break it down:
model year 07: you probably will not be able to negotiate asbigof a discount as you would on an 06, so 07 would be a bitmore expensive, and you'd have to wait a while to get one (exact time will vary from dealership to dealership based on allocations, but figure at least 3-4 months)....on thepositive side for 07, you get the car exactly how you want is (spec-wise)...
model year 06....as I said....bigger discount, no wait time, but you are limited as to what's already out there in terms of what's on the car....
so the decision comes down to this: if you can find an 06 out there with just about all you want on it, then go for it, otherwise, bite the bullet and order an 07....in other words, don't settle for one that has important options (for you) missing...get it how you want it, or you'll regret it in the long run....btw, I ordered an 07

TPMS - The Tire Pressure Monitoring System provides early warning of any drop in pressure by continuously monitoring the pressure in each tire and alerting you in the onboard computer display in the event of a pressure deficiency. It communicates the exact pressure of each tire and/or their deviation from ideal pressure. This does away with the need for regular air pressure checks at the service station, which often prove highly inconvenient.
See the TPMS FAQ for more info. |
