Interesting that the Boxster S shows the price increase but not the Cayman engine?

PSE - Porsche Sports Exhaust System
The acoustics of this dual-mode sports exhaust system are dependent on driving style, ranging from standard output during normal road driving to a more aggressive tone during performance use. Modes are selected using a button on the center console (or ‘Sport’ mode button on vehicles with optional Sport Chrono Package/Sport Chrono Package Plus).
Introduction planned for 04/2007. Some models may require additional components. For detailed information about this product, please contact your Porsche dealer.

All Models? I just zipped over and didn't see the Cayman - just the CS.

I too see that the base Cayman is not included in the pricing information at the PorscheUSA website. For those that may be stateside and want to build a configuration, you can go to the Great Britain section of the European website and build one there! The danger may be in the price variances between the U.S and Great Britain apart from the obvious Pound to Dollar conversion!

Correct. Base is not there. I must have missed that since I wasnt looking for it but the CS is there. All the 997 changes are there too. They also messed up the boxsters so maybe they are in the middle of fixing the website

Actually, it's pretty easy to get the info. I went to the dealer inventory, which lists Cayman prices and included options. The options are the same price (largely) between CS and BC so a simple subtraction gets one the base MSRP. The options can then be added via edmunds.com. Math is fun!
US Car Configurator is totally jumbled. Boxsters have price reversals fror Cobalt and Lapis, but Cayman S does not. Boxster engines not updated. Alcantara roofliner ($1,080 under 'Interior Leather')and TPMS (standard under 'Safety') are listed for Cayman S. Cayman not listed at all. I would have thought any 10-year old could do an adequate job of updating this modest amount of software (German, French and Italian Configurators were changed smoothly a month ago).
It does seem odd. But, then again, it was odd that the Cayman didn't exist on the US Porsche site (and still doesn't) even though they're being delivered already. Maybe Porsche lost their previous 10 year old webmaster when he moved into the higher demands of the fourth grade and they replaced him with a 9 year old.
