Ken, Looks great. You will be the star of the P-Parade!
When do the seat backs come out for treatment by Bumper Plugs?
|
I investigated doing seatbacks and it was going to cost me about $500 in labor just to get them out and back in, plus probably at least that much in paint so after awhile it was very near the $1400 option price tag that Porsche has. I'd probably be better off asking my local dealer to order a set in that way for some other Cayman and then swap for my seats or something. I had them on my C4S and liked them, but I want to be careful not to go TOO much speed yellow.

Is yellow your favourite colour by any chance?
Do you also colour coordinate your socks everyday.

No, purple is actually my favorite color. Weird huh? I think they compliment each other well though. I don't have yellow socks but I do have lots of yellow shirts and shoes that I wear with the car!

Has there been any degradation of the sound from having the speaker grills painted--hole size diminished? Any thought to doing the SC bubble and or the dash trim strip? You gotta be psyched.

No degradation of sound, in fact the grill holes came out great, no clogging, running, etc.
BumperPlugs did a STELLAR job, FYI there is a piece of foam behind the grills on all of our cars. No thought on doing
SC bubble or trim strip. The
SC bubble I will have to consider, but the trim strip I actually like in the aluminum/stainless look that it is now. Someday I might change my mind but for now I don't want to do it.
Any other questions?
