I have been lurking these forums for about 2 months now. This past Saturday I bought a Seal Gray/Natural Brown Cayman S. It is a big step up from my old car of 9 years (1997 Honda Prelude SH). This looks to be a very informative site much like the old one I used to visit (vtecdotnet) for my Prelude.
Anyways, the mod bug has already hit me. I have seen a particular part in a picture somewhere, but I can't find the pic or the part for sale anywhere. Maybe you guys can help me out. Currently, our Caymans come with vertical slits on the air intake vents. I want these vents to have one horizontal slit like the 911 Turbo. Like I said before, I have seen a picture of a Cayman with this part; I just can't find it anymore. If I find it, I'll try posting it.
Thanks for any help you guys might have and welcome. I'll be here for a long time because I keep my cars forever.
<p class="MsoNormal">Welcome Dharmesh, and happy new Cayman.....I seam to remember seeing a site with an advert for a hardtop for Boxster that had the same silhouette [/quote]and overall shape to the Cayman but therefore had horizontal (Boxster) grills but that’s all I can remember.
How about the 2005 Studio Torino RK Spyder Porsche Boxster bodywork..Cayman version due soon.

Thanks for the help and pics. The Sportec one looks very close to the one I saw. All the other ones look like they would be way more than I'm willing to spend at this point in time.
Welcome Dharmesh. Nice choice of exterior color. Because it's the best looking color,Porsche put all the strongest engines in the Seal Caymans. That's why the color has been discontinued as a standard metalllic. The jealous whining from the other colors gave the workers headaches.
