Clutch

Please forgive my newbieness but Ihave a clutch question. I have read a lot about clutch issuses but not this one. My Cayman S has a little over 2500 miles so it is fun to rev the engine over 4200 when I have a chance. I have noticed when I do this a feel a vibration in the clutch pedal. Anyone else feel this?

It is when it is fully engaged and as it is returning.

It could be nothing, unless it is very prominent. The clutch pedal could be lose, leaving some play to vibrate. If it is not just the pedal, but the clutch itself, sounds like chatter. Does it make a squealing noise at all? You could have it glazed, or a throw out bearing, or just generally worn. I have done all of the above to previous manuals I have ownedthat I abused the clutch on. Do you live in an area with lots of hills and you work the clutch from the mid position and stuff, stop/go. It could be something you've done, or it could be a defect with your car, it's under warranty so just drop it off.

New clutch installed @ 3500 miles: same vibration prob, the pedal itself would stick to the floor, difficult to shift into gear. The entire clutch had to be replaced. Never been better!

PM me for more details.

Thanks guys. I live in Houston where it is very flat. My last car was an 02 Boxster I drove for four years and it never felt like this.
