WOW !!!

This is the one word I,ve chosen to describe the driving as well as overall experience since picking up my loaded out Carmona Red w/ beige hydes on Friday. A little overview on me; 54 years old ,happily married with no kids living in St. Augustine,Fla.My past cars have been a Audi roadster,Mercedes 560SL,Porsche Boxster, and a Porsche968.All I can say is the past 24 hours of driving has been like NONE other. Unbelievable. This car is sweet. I drove myself crazy trying to figure out meteor gray or carmon red and I am glad I chose this color combo Firsthand, in the shade it looks burgundy and in the bright Florida sun it has a bright scarlet hue.I test drove an S vs base and again I,m glad I chose the base.;definately enough power with 5 speed.I am only hoping after 10 to 15k miles that the tires and car are as tight feeling as it is now.I also would like to thank the club for helping my sanity stay in tack during the 2 month wait for the boat to come in. Pictures will be forthcoming

You'll enjoy the car and you've definitely got one of the best color combos. I hope you are the friendly type, because you'll be talking to strangers in every parking lot....

sj968,

Congratulations on a beautiful car. Glad to see some base Cayman models joining the fray here. Enjoy.

Congrats!

Carmona red/ sand beige was also one of my top choises, I ended up

with midnight blue/sand beige, making up my mind betwen those two was very hard.

Like yourself I had several SL's, SLK, BMW, and the Boxster, I loved the Boxster.

You think the Cayman experience is even better than the Boxster, I can't wait to drive my C,

I am getting it tomorrow.

Congrats on the new Cayman! I'm not a big fan of the Carmon but I do love Florida.
