Just received word that my Cayman S is on the Hyundai #203, also called Atlantic Beauty and is due in San Diego on November 19. Should be able to get the car right after Thanksgiving.

Please send a psychic message to your Cayman to say "howdy" to the attractive Meteor Gray CS that is on the same ship. That would be mine and it's getting a little anxious about the chance to stretch it's legs along the Big Sur coast line!
Very cool, but I think the ship hold's 500 cars, so I don't know how intimate they could get. Mine is Carmona Red and tan and should look as striking as yours will.
We're planning to do a "maiden voyage" adventure for a few nights during the first week of December to the Big Sur area with the CS. If this falls into line with any of your plans, perhaps we can meet at "Nepenthe" for lunch one day. Tic Tock Tic Tock.......time crawls on...........Guess I may as well spring for the Valentine One about now. I'm nearly ready to paint the garage floor but it's nearly 800 sq feet!
I've got a bit of conflicting information. Closer inspection of my e mail from the dealership showed my vehicle on Hyundai #206, arriving at S.D. on 11-19. Hmmmm.........I called my dealer who said he cut and pasted directly from the Porsche factory communication to him. NOW, I've just checked the San Diego Port site and they DO show a Hyundai 206 arriving with "cars" on 11-18-06. I'm guessing our vehicles may not be on the "same boat". It only adds to the energy that is sounding like high tension wires in my head!
They may well be the same boat. We track certain ships here at work, and I can tell you that the dates certainly aren't written in stone. Schedules are flexible at best. The arrival dates function a bit more like guidelines.
For any of you with their cars on the Prince No. 1, it just passed through the Panama Canal late yesterday so it's out of the last turn and into the final stretch to San Diego. Hope maybe it will beat the estimated arrival time of 11/11????
If any of you are interested, got pictures of the ship going through one of the locks last night....maybe for your Cayman Scrapbook....lol. Just give me a private message and an email address and would be more than happy to send to you....don't think would be appropriate to post on this site. Had to do an old fashioned "print screen" and paste them into a .wpd file, but they should come thru fine as email attachment to open with any word processing application (saved in Wordperfect).
Kinda embarrassing to admit, but felt like a kid watching the weatherman on Christmas Eve checking out Santa's progress on the Doppler Radar!!!!!!!
Escort Radar
At ESCORT, we're continually improving our line of radar and laser detectors with the best technology. Our latest invention, the GPS-powered PASSPORT 9500ix, is no exception. It provides the best long-range protection against every known radar and laser gun in use in North America, but also incorporates GPS accuracy to silence each and every false alert. It is by far the most intelligent, fully automatic radar and laser detector ever designed. You drive. It learns. End of story. http://www.escortradar.com

John
I'm guessing Hyundai #206 has a tail wind as it is now scheduled to arrive 11-17-06 into port in San Diego. Couldn't arrive any too quick for me.........
San Diego Marine Information System is now showing Hyundai #206 scheduled to arrive at pier 24-05 on Friday, November 17 at 19:00 hours. Two days and 11 hours from now!! Next week should be our week for those on that boat.
