You can now insert direct links to Google videos here in the forums. I may even set up a forum specifically just for videos. To do so simply use the BB code tags of google and /google or to make things even easier just click on the Google "G" in the icon bar in the message editor and it will insert the tag for you. Here is an example:
Seeing this vid, and have never been on a track, makes me think it would be nice to see an overlay of the tac and speed. Do they have devices out there that can snag the cars stats while its driving for review later?

They do, Sleepless uses one, but so far I haven't found one that works with my HD camcorder, all the devices I found only work with regular definition camcorders.
Either the guy in the Viper doesn't know how to handle a 500hp car or the CS is one amazing car. Of course, we know Ken is one heck of a driver!
I'm about as far from an expert as can be, but it was interesting to me seeing how much the Cayman picked up on the corners --- you could see the Viper take off after each turn when it was heading in a straight line.....
Of course --- given my driving skill -- I'd probably be better off with a car that goes fast in a straight line. After all -- it doesn't take that much skill to drive straight
Invader zog, is that you driving the CS in the video? That is how I interpreted your response. I thought it was Ken. If so, I apologize for giving the wrong person credit.
Tony
No that was me in the video, I think he was speaking rhetorically about his own driving skills. BTW that was an unmodified Cayman S, I'm sure my now modified car would close the gap on the Viper more and more each lap despite his HP advantage (which is less now due to my mods).
Had you come to the last Croctoberfest you could have, but unfortunately I got sick on saturday and had to cut my instructing short. I will instruct sometime next season for sure.

You can see the Viper way off hitting some of his turns. With a yellow croc nipping at his hindquarters the tendency would be to try to enter turns too fast and miss the line. The seduction of squeezing out too much power on the straight to shake K-man's relentless pursuit would be irresistible.
