Who's up for a drag race!?

Actually, Suneet and I, who both live in Gainesville, Florida are planning to go to the local drag strip (where they hold the Gatornationals in the spring each year) sometime within the next month to see what our Crocs can do! The track is open to the public each Wednesday starting at 6:30 pm and you can run your car for an official 1/4 mile time and speed. I believe the cost is $10 for spectators and $20 if you plan to run your car. Besides Suneet and I, I have seen four other Crocs in this area; one red, one silver, one dark blue, and then another dark color, so if you read this and would like to join us, let me know. Of course any one else is welcome too. If you want to come all the way from Timbuktu, you are most welcome.

i live in atlanta and i go to silver dollar and atlanta dragway....My personal best was a 13.336@105.56. Tell me how it goes for yall

I've seen red and dark blue too; we gotta find a way to track 'em down and get em on this forum; they don't know what they're missing. Maybe some of you Jax or Ocala croc owners wanna get in on the fun? - S.S.

i have my 13.3 run on video...but its a cellphone video so u can see the time. if u listen then u can hear my friends say 13.3 and i have my slip right here

Youngn, what RPM did you start off at and did you have mods at the time?

This will be my first time at a drag strip; so any tips would be helpful.

Yea, I am. It's Test n' Tune night at the track, and from what I've heard most people run with standard street tires. For me, I'd rather not do my best than spend a bunch of money on slicks; I'm hoping to buy a good amount of mods this month for my CS as Christmas gifts.

you will enjoy it...my best time is 12.7 with the few mods I got. I am waiting my S/C from Orton, that should put me in the low 11s...should be even lot more fun...

Im all stock and im probably only staying stock for another couple weeks...but i revved to about 3300 and dropped the clutch for my best launch....got my 60' to a 2.0 with that launch
