Chows,
Can you send me an updated version of yours that does the following:
1) Fix black car photo for exterior shots
2) Add in other interior and wheels combos
3) Has your contact info and date ala Gator Bite's format?
Ken, external code html sent in email
As to interior and wheels, I cannot add more pictures simply because the gallery doesn't have any pictures of those. You dont want to link to Porsche copyright photos so ...
chows4us,
I put up the new exterior color code faq that you sent me, thanks!
As for the wheels, what I imagine you will have to do is look for a car with those wheels and cut the wheel out of the picture. I know Russ has lots of pics posted of his cobalt blue cayman with the 19' carrera 5 spoke wheels and I've seen a few cars with the 18" Boxster wheels too, again, just needing cut out, so I would suggest going that route.
For any other pics, the old gallery is still up and can be reached via ip address at http://66.116.109.230 in case there are still some pics that haven't been moved over to the new gallery.

LOL, I was trying to avoid photochopping the pics but I can do that. I'll stick the photchopped version in the wheels section of the gallery. I'll get to that tomorrow.
As to interior colors, people are going to have to post some pics
Yes if you look at the awards list there already is one for FAQ entries, I created that weeks ago before the FAQ discussion started because well I was ahead of the curve...

Am I missing something? $570 to change the appearance of the exhaust pipes tips? Tell me I'm missing something.
Nope, just your opportunity to shell out more $$. Oh I guess you are missing the opportunity to contribute to the FAQ! Is there an item you'd like to write-up and submit Qman? BTW Boothe Design has those tips for less than the factory charges.

Yeah. Das is verrueckt......! (German for: That is crazy!)
I'll tell you, writing these FAQs is really helping me determine which features I want. I hope I am not inserting too much of my personal opinion. I am trying to keep them objective.

I really can appreciate the task at hand. I know absolutely nothing about computer "speak". I am by nature a compulsive organizer and therefore love what you and others are doing.
If anyone can think of others that we've missed, please let us know. Racerboy has quite a job ahead of him. He can use all the help we can give him.
You don't have to be a web designer (which Racerboy happens to be ) to contribute. He is offering to put his skills to work for us, but I am sure he may need help coming up with more Acronyms and a definitions.
There are some of you who want to help but worry that your lack of web design ability prevents that. Here is your opportunity. Please help Racerboy come up with more Acronyms and definitions so he can focus on the web development side.
Thanks folks. Every bit of your efforts is greatly appreciated.
PASM - Porsche Active Suspension Management
This active damping system offers continuous adjustment of individual damping forces based on current road conditions and driving style.
The driver can choose from two setup modes, ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’, using a separate ‘damper’ button on the center console. ‘Normal’ mode is designed for general road driving and circuits with uneven tarmac. ‘Sport’ mode is intended for smoother track surfaces, where the harder settings help eliminate pitch and roll.
In either mode, PASM continuously evaluates the current conditions while automatically selecting the corresponding damper rates from the respective set of mapped values.
A range of sensors are used to monitor the movement of the body under acceleration, braking and cornering maneuvers, as well as on poor road surfaces. The PASM control unit then evaluates this data and modifies the damping force on each individual wheel in accordance with the selected mode. The result is a significant reduction in body movement as well as a better grip on the road.
For example: if ‘Sport’ mode is selected, the suspension is automatically set to a harder damper rating. If the quality of the track surface falls below a certain threshold, the system immediately changes to a softer rating within the ‘Sport’ setup range. When the quality of the tarmac improves once more, PASM automatically returns to the original, harder rating.

Sport Chrono and Chrono Plus
This optional package is a valuable addition for trackday use. Available in conjunction with the CDR-24 CD radio, it includes a swivel-mounted analog and digital timer unit which is centrally located on the dashboard. All functions are easily accessible via the control stalk for the on-board computer. Analog dials measure hours, minutes and seconds, while a separate digital field displays whole seconds, tenths and one hundredths of a second. A second digital display runs in parallel in the instrument cluster. Click this Link to visit the FAQ entry for Sport Chrono.
