Yesterday, 12/6, I received an email from my dealer with my new Vin #.
It also included a status code: CMPPRD
I know that this has been covered before, but can someone offer a list of progressive order status codes and their meanings, or at least the meaning of the one above? Also, could anyone provide the purpose and benefits of adding information to the Registry once we know our Vin #?
I posted a thread on that many months ago, you might use the Search feature to see if you can locate it, off the top of my head that code means it had CoMPleted PRoDuction CMPPRD. Which is why you have a VIN# etc. Don't forget to register your car in the Registry and join PCA if you are so inclined!

It would be interesting if we knew, on average, how long it takes to move from one code to the next, but I guess there are probably many variables, including the fact that a vessel does not leave every day, and so whether you just missed one or just made one would make a difference.
K-Man S,
I am planning to join the PCA, and probably post my vehicle on the Registry, but I could not put my finger on what the Registry is all about. Like what are the benefits of posting to it, and who has access to it and for what reasons?
Thanks

Yes I believe that the vessels leave every 2 weeks and missing one puts us at least 2 weeks further out. Keep us posted as your codes change and I will do the same.
Here is a quote from the PCA national site about registers:
Register Groups
The PCA Register Program is a new opportunity for members interested in networking with owners of specific Porsche models.
The PCA Register program was established in 1995 to encourage closer relationships within register groups in PCA. The program allows PCA members to network with others in their specific area of interest. Sharing of information fosters restoration and maintenance of member's automobiles. A register can potentially provide a new resource for historical displays at Parades and other PCA events, along with information for articles in PANORAMA.
Since this is a new register and in conjunction with this portal we can help define, as members, where it goes moving forward. Please feel free to PM me your thoughts!

Panorama Magazine
Panorama Magazine from PCA is published monthly and sent to all PCA members. For examples of the magazine visit PCA Panorama
So the registry works hand in hand with the PCA membership. I was wondering if I should be joining my local PCA chapter or the National or both? Any thoughts?
Thanks Russ
