Sport Chrono and Chrono Plus
This optional package is a valuable addition for trackday use. Available in conjunction with the CDR-24 CD radio, it includes a swivel-mounted analog and digital timer unit which is centrally located on the dashboard. All functions are easily accessible via the control stalk for the on-board computer. Analog dials measure hours, minutes and seconds, while a separate digital field displays whole seconds, tenths and one hundredths of a second. A second digital display runs in parallel in the instrument cluster. Click this Link to visit the FAQ entry for Sport Chrono.
Sounds gorgeous. Love the color combination! Anxious to see photos. Why on earth did your order take so long? We ordered this week and expect delivery end of March.

Saxplyr1, congrats on the new car! I know how anxious you must be mine just arrived at the Port in Baltimore after a week delay. The dealer's telling me maybe Wednesday, but were going to CA for New Year's so it will most likely be the Jan. 2, oh well, a great New Year's present!
You go boy, Drive it like you stole it! Got my red Cayman last Tues. Most fun you can have with your clothes on. I fly for fun and the Cayman is still a hoot. The only thing that comes close is a Hughes 500 or a Gazelle. Take good care of her.
Thanks. She's red with the Bose system, xenon headlights, and a rear widow wiper. Black sport seats and red belts finished her off. Looked at a 911 and was told the Cayman was actually faster at the track. It's like the 911 is turning into a G.T. type of car, whereas the Cayman is still a "sports" car. I'm glad I bought a Cayman.
Congratulations on your new car. I cannot imagine how you waited so long. Why was the delivery time that long?
For me, I decided on Sept 25 to buy a sports car. By Sept 28 I had pretty much locked in on the Cayman S, over the weekend, looked at a few, Monday, Oct 2, cut a deal and drove it home after work. The whole process took about a week.
