We at CaymanClub.Net would like to wish you a very happy and joyous holiday season followed by a prosperous new year!
If you haven't visited the website in awhile please take a few moments to come back and check out the newest
articles,
classifieds, photos and of course discussions in our forums.
Speaking of
Classifieds, if you missed getting one of our 2007 Cayman Calendars we are going to auction off 3 remaining calendars starting just after Christmas and before the new year. Visit
http://www.caymanclub.net/classified...cat.php?cat=17 to see the current auctions and keep an eye out of those calendars to go on the auction block!
We have a number of new sponsors and a few more will be joining us in the weeks ahead to continue to expand the product and service offerings for your Cayman. If you didn't get that limited slip differential or 3.8L motor you wanted, these new sponsors might just have what you need.
Speaking of sponsors, the
Tire Rack is now an official site and forum sponsor and they have specifically set up an "Upgrade Garage" for Cayman owners. The link is on our home page, or simply click here:
http://www.tirerack.com/affiliates/l...sp?AFFCODE=AV7
Anything you order from the Upgrade Garage will help benefit the website. If you need snow tires or just want to upgrade your wheels, the
Tire Rack Upgrade Garage is the place to go.
Speaking of the website we recently asked for feedback from our members about what improvements they would like to see. The two main items were an
FAQ and a set of forum posting guidelines. I'm happy to announce that the guidelines were posted into every forum last week and work has begun on the
FAQ. If you'd like to get involved with creating content for the
FAQ just reply to this topic and I will tell you how. You can find the initial
FAQ in progress at:
http://www.caymanclub.net/faq.php
Finally, I'm saddened to report that our Registry is still not online. Primarily this is due to a developer who over-promised and under-delivered. It looks like we will be changing directions and seeking out a new developer(s) to complete this task. If you happen to be proficient in PHP and MySQL and would like to work on this project, or know someone who does, please reply to this topic.
I'm looking forward to the continued growth of our community in 2007!
Sincerely,
K-Man S and the entire staff of CaymanClub.Net
