I was on 15 north on my way home from San Diego and running approx. 115mph suddenly I run over something on the freeway. I dont really know what it is till after 10 miles of driving I slowed down and suddenly I heard a loud noise coming from the back of my car. So I merge to the right shoulder and realized that my left rear tire exploded. I was really amazed how the car handled it. Anyway to make the long story short, I thank God and the car that, nothing seriously happened to us. So now I'm just waiting for Circle Porsche to pick me up and I'm ready to see my baby up and running. I think $475.00 tire is worth it than getting my wife and myself into alot of trouble.

Must be tire and wheel if the tire exploded and you drove for ten miles. Check site sponsor Tire Rack for tire prices.

Neither is driving 1 MPH over the limit. c'mon let's not be a remora and be so judgemental.
I don't get the remora reference and normally don't even contribute to threads like this but your response was just too absurd. 115 on a public road is NOT a good thing. Yes, the car is capable of those speeds. And yes, unexpected things can happen that will cause problems for people other than the driver. Suggesting that going 1 mph over the limit is just as illegal and implicitly linking the two events is specious. No jury on the planet would equate the two if the car were to be involved in an accident.
There's speeding and there's SPEEDING. You might look into what your local jurisdiction gives as a penalty for SPEEDING. It's highly likely to be non-trivial.
