Are any of you planning on switching out your stock wheels for aftermarket or other Porsche wheels after you take delivery ? I will be looking for a second set of Cayman S wheels for track duty. Have tried to order second set from Porsche but they are currently not available.
Wheel Enhancement
Nobody gives you more ways to get the look you want:
1. Purchase new Porsche Factory alloys.
2. Purchase like-new used or restored Porsche alloys from us.
3. Have us refinish your Factory alloys. We restore, anodize, polish and chrome plate.
4. Purchase our aftermarket wheels--we offer the very best, including Kinesis, Fikse, BBS, HRE and Champion to name a few.
5. Exchange your straight, true Factory alloys for Factory alloys pre-finished the way you want.
6. Exchange your scratched/curb damaged Factory alloys for new or refinished Factory Alloys.
7. Trade in your straight, true Factory alloys for aftermarket or Factory wheels. http://www.wheelenhancement.com
Tried to submit an ad for the wheels. but it didn't seem to allow an ad to be placed ?
Rick,
Ads have to be approved, there should have been a message about the ad awaiting approval, I see I have something in the queue if it is the ad I will go approve it.
When I raced I usually had some trackside support to do the dirty work. But when just doing track days or DE's, I usually do it myself. Get a little compressor and an impact wrench along with a small jack, and you can change all 4 by yourself in under 5 minutes. I looked under the car the other day, and the jacking points look well defined and should not pose any problems. Make sure your jack fits under the car so you don't have to drive the car onto a piece of wood, as that will slow down the process.

Ditto w/Rick. I'll have 3 sets of wheels: street, track & winter. Changing is no big deal although I'd say more like 30-40 min from start to finish, but some of that's my age. I use a low clearance, lightweight 'racing jack' w/a hockey puck on the saddle to protect the car. The entire side lifts from 1 jacking point. It's also a good opportunity to quickly check brake pad wear, etc.

If I purchse this Cayman that they will be getting in at my dealer (looks as if I will be getting it), it will have the 18" Standard wheel and I will be looking to sell these wheels as I will be changing them to Carrera classics if anyone is still interested.
