My son sent me this as a spoof, knowing what I am going through waiting for this car. His way of getting even after I sent him the spoof photo of my car on a vessel. His comment was: 'I am my father's son...corny corny corny'.
We all do some crazy things while in this waiting period, and I can see that apple didn't fall too far from the tree! Somebody has to keep us laughing. I have been laughing at myself lately. You should see the ordeal I have made with the painting of my garage floor! Now I am looking at putting down poly foam tiles over the painted floor. My wife says the garage is going to look better than the living room! Oh well what's a guy to do.
Aloha Russ
A quick look at the front shows us that this is NOT a Cayman ;-) I am glad we have those round fog lights - instant recognition !!! In any case a good picture and a very cute dog !!!
I noticed it right away also, but I did not have the heart to tell him after all the time he must have spent on Photoshop cutting in his dog. Given the air ducts on the side, I figure it's a 911tt.
Damn! *smacks own hand*
Serves me right for googling for a quick image indiscriminately. The dog in the Cayman is Oyster, my 5 year old Lab/Dingo mix. I was *going* to Photoshop our five cats in as well, with beer bottles hanging out the windows or something else of the like, but alas I didn't have time. The P'chop job took me about 10 minutes though, so the gesture wasn't nearly as heartwarming as you all might think.
I give you credit for having the patients to do the work you did with Photoshop. I have had my Photoshop for a year now and I still couldn't do what you did. (you better keep an eye on that Dad of yours, he has been acting mighty strange lately)
<br style="font-style: italic;" />
Aloha Russ
I feel like I've known the guy my whole life, and have to agree with you that his behavior took a not-coincidental turn for the stranger when he decided to buy a Cayman. He's normally 80% golf talk and 20% sleep, but nowadays it's 90% Cayman, 5% golf and 5% sleep, it seems.
Photoshop's fun. When you learn how to effectively cut things out and put them into other pictures, it opens a whole new world of absurd fun for the whole family. It's best learned in person though, so if I ever get to Hawaii I'd be glad to give you a personal tour of how to do the fun stuff.
Cheers,
Chris - Future Owner of Dad's Used Cayman (But Not Holding His Breath)
Nice to hear from you.I am gald to hear that Dad has found some newborn enthusiasm. I think we all have started aging in reverse now. I am also glad to see you have your Dad' sense of humor. I will work on that Photoshop, got a Canon 20D last year and I amstill trying figure that out!OF course if I didn't spend so much time here I might have time for something else, but I am having way too much fun here.
