My Boxster (the plates will go on the Cayman) has plate number "IF." It's not some esoteric philosophical musing, just my initials, reversed. I also have "FI", "YF", "YD" and "UR" (my alma mater). I used to have "GTB" on one of the Dinos, until a Daytona owner frowned and said that it wasn't a GTB. I immediately had it changed to "ZI", which I kept until getting "YD". A friend of mine thought that it stood for "wide"! I think that any kind of personalized plate adds a certain something to a distinctive car. 987f
I used to have BOX ONE, I'm in the cardboard box business as you might tell from my name, but for the Cayman I thought people might think BOXSTER, and it's not! After much conversation with my wife about what's already out their relating to the CAYMAN S, we came up with PRYCLSS, priceless!! In Ohio we're limited to just 7 spaces so I had to drop the "e" and to make it easier to read I went with the "Y". I think the word sums up the car very well!
